The irrigation industry in comparison to other service industries is still in its infancy. Irrigation management was started in 1987 by Bob Officer. Bob began fulfilling the demand of installing new irrigation systems in the west metro. Bob knew that servicing the customers he was installing was going to be key, in maintaining a long lasting company.

Today many of the first systems which were installed over 30 years ago are still in service today. Bob is still active in the company and maintains the long standing relationships and helps to create new relationships. Another active member of the company is Chris Vasecka. Chris spent 18 years honing his skills in the Golf Industry, managing the grounds and the irrigation systems. When Golf Construction took a slide in the mid 2000’s Chris wanted to continue to work with Irrigation and began a small irrigation company in 2008 “Use Your Water Right”. Their focus was to help customers manage their water consumption through their irrigation systems and to service a growing number of customers primarily in the St. Cloud and North Metro Area. Bob and Chris began to develop a working relationship which eventually developed into a partnership in 2013.

The new company today is Irrigation Management LLC. The focus in the past 3 years is to develop better systems to service existing customers and to create new relationships with customers who expect the best out of their vendors. Our long term goal is to have service outlets in every major city in the State of Minnesota. This will allow us to employ more high skilled technicians and keep them on board for many years.
